Kansas State Capitol

The Kansas State Capitol is the state capitol building of the U.S. state of Kansas. Housing the Kansas Legislature, it is located in the state capital of Topeka. The building was constructed in stages, the east wing 1866–1873, the west wing 1879–1881, and the center 1884–1906. Cyrus K. Holliday donated a tract of land to the state for the construction of a state capitol.
