Kiss of Death is a 1995 crime/detective thriller which is a remake of the 1947 film of the same name which starred Richard Widmark.
Jimmy Kilmartin (David Caruso) is an ex-con living in Astoria, in the New York City borough of Queens, trying to stay clean. But when his cousin makes him take a fall for a heist, he lands back in prison. In order to get an early release, he works with a detective (Samuel L. Jackson) to bring down a local small-time crime boss (Nicolas Cage).
It failed at the box office and was nominated for a Razzie award for worst new star (Caruso).
