KNOE-TV, Channel 8, is the CBS affiliate for Monroe, Louisiana. The station is owned by the Noe family.
KNOE's analog and digital transmitters are located in Columbia, Louisiana. They also operate a low-powered translator station, K18AB channel 18, in El Dorado, Arkansas.
The stations also operates cable-only WB affiliate KWMB for the Monroe market. In January it was announced that The WB and UPN will end operations in September 2006 to form The CW network.
The CW's official website list the stations KNOE's call number for the Monroe market, which hints that KNOE will carry the CW on one of its digital subchannels as well as the existing WB cable-only station.
