Krasnoilsk

Krasnoyilsk (Ukrainian: Красноїльськ, Romanian: Crasna-Ilschi) is an urban-type settlement in the Storozhynetskyi Raion (district), of the Chernivtsi Oblast in the west of Ukraine. Pop. 9,122 (latest est.).
The location is located 8 km from the Ukrainian border with Romania and according to the 2001 Ukrainian census, the village had 9,142 people [1], out of which almost all are Romanians.[2]
