[edit] Tenryu

Why have you reverted the vitalstatistics?(Halbared 21:25, 2 June 2006 (UTC))

Well apart from the US (and aspects of the UK) the whole world uses metric as their primary system. I think it's looks sloppy to have a few stats a different way around, since this is an English speaking Wiki. But I'll leave it.(Halbared 09:08, 3 June 2006 (UTC))

[edit] UK stats

Should be in Imperial first. It is the most widely recognised form of weight and height measurement and is still used for our other athletes like boxers. If you go to a British wrestling event, they do not announce people in metric, they are announced in Imperial, please do not put metric first. The stats of British wreslters should be in Imperial (British) measurement first and then metric.(Halbared 22:07, 3 June 2006 (UTC))

That page doesn't say that he has dual nationality, but I'll leave it and take your word that it's in the shoot.(Halbared 15:46, 28 June 2006 (UTC))

[edit] Punk's vice format

The reason I keep changing it is because the current format doesn't follow other previous finishers i.e. the ones listed in Kurt Angle, Fit Finlay or Edge. I realise that Punk is a special case with using the same name but a different move but it looks awkward. --- Lid 10:10, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

The reverse hurricanrana links to the reverse frankensteiner under throws rather than reverse frankensteiner under aerial. The distinction is for people to diffenciate that Punk does both the top rope and standing versions and that in modern wrestling the name frankensteiner is only ever used in the top rope version while it is in nearly every case referred to as a harracanrana rather than a frankensteiner. --- Lid 11:07, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RVDs Manuvers List

Why did you revert my edit to his manuvers list? Van Dam has done the diving leg drop as a finisher several times in ECW, finished a lot of great tag team matches with it, and yet you move it to a signature move. RVD has done a running leg lariat at the turnbuckle 2x so far, and it should be added. I labelled the superkick as a side kick because Tazz refers to it as a side kick, and if you didnt notice, in the superkick page, the superkick is also called a side kick. Im gonna put it back to the way i put it b4, and 1 more question, why is the split legged moonsault set as a hollywood star press 1st, then split legged moonsault after? Arent you supposed to label the current name in front of past names? Thats the way it is in Shelton Benjamin's page, so i think thats the way it should be labelled in the list. Also, i think it should just be called "Finishing and signature moves" instead of 2 seperate things, because some moves are used as BOTH finishing and signature, and people shouldnt be confused over if the split legged moonsault and diving leg drop is a current finisher, signature move, or BOTH. Just my opinion on the situation. I left something on the RVD Discussion page, so if you can answer my comments, answer it there until I get my talk page up and running. Thanks =). [edit] Image:Toshiaki-Kawada.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Toshiaki-Kawada.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Chowbok 19:53, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ura-nage

A lot of people have Ura-nage as a signature name for their side slam on TV. Be careful who you change that for. Cheers, -- The Hybrid 06:58, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

That is what they call it when they do it. It is like the Undertaker's Tombstone Piledriver being called that rather then a Belly to Belly Piledriver. It is just a name, and it should be left that way in spite of the move's actual name. Cheers, -- The Hybrid 13:52, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

Alright, then Rey Mysterio's 619. Also, thanks for switching it back. Cheers, -- The Hybrid 13:57, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

I have re-inserted my citation tag, please provide a source. A Google search [1] backs up my requirement of a source. One Night In Hackney 14:44, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
No problem. I'd say "reverse side throw" is a better phrase to be honest though. Almost every judo site I've checked describes it as a reverse throw, so phrasing it the other way is very confusing. One Night In Hackney 15:24, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
Will do, just thought it more polite to get your opinion first, especially as we were discussing it. Thanks. One Night In Hackney 15:38, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR warning

I've removed he insult. The anon has been blocked for incivility. However, please be careful of WP:3RR even in such cases William M. Connolley 10:01, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Sorry about that. Is this warning for reaching three or four? Because I tried to not revert more than three times, and did the fourth ones after the user had been blocked. I understood this would be acceptable from Wikipedia:Three-revert rule#Reverting edits from banned or blocked users. ↪Lakes (Talk) 17:11, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Trying to delete all of my pages?

I really don't appreciate how you are trying to basically delete every article I have created, it is really a low life thing to do. Kris Classic 01:04, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Verdict

You cant just expect me to leave something just beacuse you say so, you aint nothing! and i havent done anything so stop being all over me with your little fingers here on this internet site.

new name same rubbish (User:Idres) --- Paulley

Just to let you know the case has gone to Checkuser and hopefully they can block out his range of IP's before he trys to comeback. --- Paulley

We've got another Verdict sockpuppet, user:Kurt Angle Fan. Same exact edits, but I don't know if it should go to checkuser or another sockpupper report or what.«»bd(talk stalk) 02:43, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Morishima Takeshi

I altered the shown name of his signature suplex to 'waistlock suplex' purely for the reason that people were not checking the definition of Saito Suplex and changing it. I thought an English description might persuade them not to. I've noticed NOAH commentators seem to call it "Back Suplex", but it clearly fits the definition for Saito suplex and I'm happy to leave it as that. Suriel1981 13:30, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Btw, I noticed you removed the internal link to the WP Budokan Hall page and removed Morishima's signature missile dropkick, I've assumed both were a mistake. Suriel1981 13:32, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Morishima likes to use a front dropkick off the top turnbuckle for near-pinfalls. It's become something of a signature move because wrestlers that big don't usually do missile dropkicks. Suriel1981 14:46, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Harry Smith

My bad, no harm meant, I didn't look far back enough in the history. Bmg916 Speak to Me

[edit] Electric chair facebuster

This is already listed elsewhere as the electric chair bomb which is the name used for the move. I'm not sure what articles link to electric chair bomb but as the move is a facebuster they probably need redirecting. –– Lid(Talk) 12:20, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Terry Funk

First off, as far as the punch combo, he climaxed with a big LEFT hand. Watch one of his matches and see. Secondly, winning one deathmatch with a punch hardly equates to making that move the wrestler's main finisher. Thirdly, the Hangman's neckbreaker (called as such) and DDT have been regularly used in Funk matches. Again, watch one of his matches and see. Ergo me reverting their removal. Suriel1981 15:12, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] From 141.157.240.203

Hey Lakes could you please stop putting useless information on Jimmy Rave finishing and signature move and if you find a better place to put that info on KENTA and better place i would not erase it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 141.157.240.203 (talk) 19:27, 11 March 2007 (UTC).
