Larton
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Larton is a hamlet, located next to Frankby & near to West Kirby, on the Wirral Peninsula in England. Larton was formerly known as part of 'Newton-cum-Larton', & was a part of the West Kirby parish. Today, Newton is, once again, regarded as a separate entity from Larton. Larton is now part of the Frankby parish. Newton contains the majority of the population of the former township & is a district of West Kirby. Larton's name remains in geographical use only with the local riding school, Larton Livery, & Larton Farm.
