LatCharter

LatCharter is a charter airline based in Riga, Latvia. It operates ad hoc passenger charter flights across Europe and to Africa and Asia, as well as business and VIP charters. Its main base is Riga International Airport.

The airline was established in 1992 and started operations on 1993. It was founded by four professional pilots and is privately owned. Loftleiðir Icelandic, the ACMI arm of Icelandair Group, acquired 55% of LatCharters stock in June 2006 with an option to buy the remaining shares.[citation needed]

LatCharter operates services to the following charter destinations from Riga (at April 2005): winter season: Tenerife,Hurghada,Sharm el-Sheikh,Dubai in summer season;Antalya,Bodrum,Dalaman,Heraklion
