Lik-M-Aid
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lik-M-Aid has been on the market in the United States, since at least the 'mid-20th century. It was manufactured by Sunmark Brands, which was bought out by Nestlé, and is now part of the Willy Wonka product line.
Lik-M-Aid is similar to fellow Wonka product Pixy Stix, but sold in small pouches, rather than paper or plastic straws. It is reminiscent of sweetened fruit drink powder mixes. The flavors are grape, cherry, and a blue raspberry that changes to green apple.
The Lik-A-Stix was introduced to Lik-M-Aid by the 1970s, and the combination is known as Lik-M-Aid Fun Dip. The stick resembles a rather flat stick of white chalk, in appearance, and tastes like a marshmallow. It is dipped in the various fruit flavors of Lik-M-Aid, which stick to it, once it's been licked.
[edit] Trivia
- Lik-M-Aid was a favorite candy of Freaks and Geeks character Millie Kentner (played by Sarah Hagan), as seen in a few episodes of the series.
