This is a list of the teams in the IndyCar Series of the Indy Racing League. "TBA" indicates that this driver or sponsor is currently unknown for the 2007 season.
All teams for 2007 will use Honda engines.

[edit] Full Time IndyCar Series Teams
NOTE: Penske Racing has the option of using the #1, but has declined to use the #1. The cars will remain #3 and #6. Sam Hornish has never carried the #1 as an IRL champion. (In his two championships with Panther Racing, the car kept the #4, owing to owner Jim Harbaugh's uniform number in the NFL.)

[edit] Other planned or recently active Indycar teams
- American Spirit Racing - Established Indy Pro Series and Formula BMW team owned by Jon Lewis plans to run one car in the 2007 Indy 500.
- Cahill Racing - Announced plans to run in 2007 with driver Milka Duno. Abruptly cancelled press conference where official announcement was to be made and is not on 2007 entry lists.
- Hemelgarn Racing - shut down after 2006 Indy 500 due to lack of funds. Has reportedly sold its remaining equipment and chassis.
- Newman/Haas Racing - ran two cars for their Champ Car drivers at the 2005 Indy 500. Their remaining chassis were sold to C+S Motorsport.
