The first English manga volume cover. It was released in the U.S. on

2003.
The English Adaptation of the manga is serialised in the US edition of Shonen Jump and after Chapter 114, the series is marked as Naruto: Orochimaru's Invasion (For example, JP Chapter 115 "The Chunin Exam, Concluded" is numbered "Orochimaru's Invasion: Number 1: The Chunin Exam, Concluded." The compiled volumes retain the original name and chapter number.)

Because of the extremely large gap between the English and Japanese versions of the anime, only six Naruto games have been translated and released in North America and only two have been released in Europe. An untitled game is currently under development by Ubisoft and is set to be released in 2007.
[edit] DVD release (U.S.)
The first boxed set of Naruto was released in the U.S. on July 4, 2006. There are thirteen episodes on 3 DVDs in the first set, which include both Japanese and English audio, and English subtitles. [1] The second uncut volume was released on December 5, 2006 and includes twelve episodes on 3 DVDs. [2] The third box set will be released on May 29, 2007. It will contain episodes 26-39 with English and Japanese audio and English subtitles.[3] Viz is also releasing The Battle at the Hidden Falls. I am the Hero! OVA on May 22, 2007. It has an age rating of 13. [4]
Also, VIZ is releasing edited DVDs individually. These DVDs are the version seen on Toonami with English audio only and no subtitles. The release schedule for the edited release is as follows:
