Alexander the Grater (Sheep the Royal in Japan) is a CWA wrestler. In Australia, he was a member of the national rugby team. When he came to America, he participated in the American version of the sport, American football, gaining some fame before his violent behavior got him kicked out. Afterwards, he took up wrestling. His nickname is intended to fool opponents into thinking that he isn't capable of killing them. His unique attack skill is the spike DDT

Capcom of USA warped his profile, as they did many characters, into him being a butcher born in Kentucky, USA and his favorite attack being the "Patty Cake Slap". Obviously these changes aren't canon.

Alexander the Grater is heavily based on real-life wrestler Vader much like SNK's wreslter Raiden. Grater's unique helmet (seen in his entrance) closely resembles a helmet which Vader wore to the ring for many of his matches in Japan. His US name is a wordplay on Alexander The Great.

His stage is located in Sydney, Australia.

Black Widow is a CWA wrestler. She's stated to sport a lean but slightly muscular body in a full-body costume, fooling opponents with her flexibility. In game her design is androgynous with a male voice, and fliers purposefully used neutral Japanese pronouns to leave it up in the air whether or not the character was male or female. Her unique attack skill is the frankensteiner. Unlike most characters that turn red when 'heated', her costume will turn silver.

In her ending, she reveals herself to be very much female (and sport a very female voice). It's never stated exactly why she posed as she did in the game, though given she is the only female wrestler it's speculated that the CWA prohibits female wrestlers from registering. Her character was stated to be one of the inspirations behind Sakura Kasugano. Black Widow is later referenced in one of Hugo Andore's Street Fighter III: Double Impact endings as his opponent in a tag team match with Haggar.

Due to space constraints in some points of the game such as the select screen, her name is shortened to B. Widow. Everwhere else however refers to her by her full name. Her stage is located in Hanover, Germany. Black Widow is also notably the largest woman in the Street Fighter universe according to character statistics.

Rip Saber is a member of the BWA, and not much is actually known about him. He apparently came "from the battlefield", and is more than willing to "do whatever it takes to win". This includes attacking his opponent with weapons such as shovels and hand grenades. He treats every match like a life and death situation.

Rip's strange attack style has earned him a large fan base (story wise). His attack style seems to be a parody of wrestlers who were famous for garbage wrestling, which was popular in Japan at the time.

His birthplace of Calgary, Alberta Canada is a reference to the famous Hart wrestling family that includes Bret Hart and Owen Hart.

Titanic Tim (Titan the Great in Japan) is the largest-size newcomer of the CWA. Weighing over 5 kg at birth, by the time he graduated from elementary school he was over 6'3". He started wrestling as a means to fully utilize his body. According to his American bio, he hates small people and is typically considered a disco reject. His unique attack skill is the neck chokehold.

He's best friends and rivals with former wrestler Birdie. When the two were a tag team, they went by the name "500 Trillion Powers", a parody of the mid-80s Randy Savage/Hulk Hogan tag team The Mega Powers. Titanic Tim seems to have been loosely based on the late Japanese wrestler/promoter Giant Baba. His USA name is a wordplay on Tiny Tim.

His stage location is London. England.
