Remy is a video game character from Capcom's Street Fighter III series.

While the official backgrounds of most Street Fighter III characters are vague at best, much can be conjectured about Remy from dialogue and endings. His purpose seems to be to convince people that violence is futile, and that the path of a warrior is ultimately self-destructive and irresponsible.
Remy makes numerous comments about a father who abandoned his family. Due to sharing a similar playstyle with Guile, many fans previously concluded that Remy is the illegitimate child of Guile (and recent fan speculation suggests Charlie). Capcom has officially denied this rumor.

Remy's entire character design seems to be very "SNK-styled" in terms of inspiration (though, there is no official connection), bearing resemblances to fighters such as Iori Yagami. He wears a black leather shirt with a small, white "Omega" symbol on the chest. He has loose red pants (again, reminiscent of Iori) and brown shoes. He has very lanky appendages and long green hair that drapes over his ears when he fights.

Remy is a "charge" character, meaning his moveset is similar to that of Guile from Street Fighter II, and Charlie of the Street Fighter Alpha (Nash of Street Fighter Zero).

- Remy appears to have a one-way unwelcome rivalry with the character Alex, due to his standing as a wandering warrior. Remy's reasoning is that his own father was a wandering warrior who abandoned his family, thus, Remy takes out his frustration at his father by defeating the somewhat confused Alex in his sub-boss duel.
- In Remy's ending, he dives into an underwater crevice to visit the preserved corpse of his sister. This is a homage to Saint Seiya's Cygnus Hyoga, who would periodically dive under the Syberian ice cleft to visit the corpse of his dead mother, which lies on a bed inside a sunken ship.
- The symbol on Remy's leather jacket is Ω, the last letter of the Greek alphabet and often used as a symbol for death.
- Remy has an attack called Cold Blue Kick. The character Silvia in the Capcom game Viewtiful Joe also has an attack called Cool Blue Kick. It is possible that this is a reference to Remy.
