Talk:List of albums containing a hidden track
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The idea is to create a dynamic list of albums containing a hidden track. Detailed information on hidden tracks can be put in the List of hidden tracks. The syntax of the article could be made as in this article. Should there be a list on both album name and name of the artist? Brz7

[edit] List of hidden tracks
The aim is to make a dynamic list of hidden tracks, sorted by name in alphabetic order, shortly describing the track (a longer description would allow the creation of an article on the hidden track and a short description plus link in this list). Maybe later a list of hidden tracks by the name of the band could be made? Cross-references to the article List of albums containing a hidden track are welcome. Brz7

[edit] Consistant style/second list
I noticed that the second list (sorted by album) is a lot shorter than the first. I'm going to try and go through the first list and add anything missing from the second. Also, I'm going to try and keep a consistant style going through the listings - originally I was going to use WP:ALBUMS's style (Artist Album "Track") but as the list seems to have it's own already (Artist Album Track) I'm happy sticking with that. Anyone got any objections? Satan's Rubber Duck 17:02, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm, this is going to take a lot of work. (Is that second list actually necessary? It's simple TOC doesn't even work properly.) So far, I've gone through the 0-9s and the As, having to add the majority of them to the second list. If anyone wants to jump in and help please do! Satan's Rubber Duck 17:55, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
Right, culling time. Bye bye to the second list, it's unnecessary (especially as people seem to not notice it after updating the first). I'm also going to try and put a consistant style through it, trimming unnecessary info and possibly moving it to better locations. Satan's Rubber Duck 17:01, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Removed Stabilo
I was the user that added Stabilo's Happiness and Disaster album to the list. It was released on April 4, 2006. It was supposed to include a hidden track (new version of "Everybody"), but I guess the label changed its mind, and added it to the tracklist. It's no longer hidden, so I removed it from this list. [edit] Benjamin Gate, Relient K
Both albums (Untitled, Contact)have a hidden song, i believe... I may check this soon, but you are welcome to do so.
Also there is a hidden song after Relient K's "Jefferson Aeroplane" (on the same track). I believe. --206.54.145.254 15:46, 19 June 2006 (UTC)(not logged in)
[edit] Blind Melon, Soup
According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soup_%28album%29 there is an hidden track on this album. I do not own the cd so i can't check. Could someone do it and add the album to the list?
[edit] Separate pregap and last-track ones?
I think we should separate this huge list. The former ones in question are commonly called "null tracks", while the last-track ones are simply called "hidden". It will be much more readable that way and not such a nightmare to scroll down. -andy 80.129.125.167 23:20, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
