[edit] Well, well ...
I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I warn you - this place is awfully addictive. --BenM 15:50, 31 Oct 2004 (UTC)
No, I'm not surprised. It's close enough to some things we've discussed, but you should definitely take the time to check this out. --BenM 16:19, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Howdy. You'll probably want to sign your name after comments that you make in Talk pages, which you can do by typing 4 tildes, as Sam explained above. Thanks for helping out with Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics. -leigh (φθόγγος) 18:32, Jan 7, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Tram box
That box listing tram numbers etc really ought to be in a template, so that when the box changes (and it will) it changes everywhere at once. See Help:Template. Josh Parris ✉ 05:36, 7 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject Buffy

[edit] Comics Collaboration of the Fortnight
As a member of WikiProject Comics, I thought you might be interested in the Comics Collaboration of the Fortnight we have set up. Please feel free to vote on the articles listed, although bear in mind that a vote for a particular article means you are pledging to help improve the article. The goal of the collaboration is to improve articles to Featured Article status, as we feel Comics is under-represented in that area. Thanks for your help. Steve block talk 15:48, 18 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Comics collaboration
Hi. Forgive the cut and paste briskness of this message, but you voted at the Comics Collaboration of the Fortnight for Comics, which has now become the current collaboration. Please help to improve it in any way you can. First up we have discovered it might be best to discuss improvements on the talk page, and perhaps create a To-do list. Anyway, thanks for your help. Steve block talk 19:44, 10 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Goannas
May well be - if I had more information I'd add it to the page, but it's been years since I knew where my herp books were :-/ --Calair 01:25, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Meetup in March
I see that you are listed as a participant in the WikiProject Melbourne. If you are a Melbourne resident I would appreciate your views on the suggested Meetup in March . Please give some indication of your interest, or otherwise, in the idea. Even a simple "No thanks" with your user name would be welcome and assist in assessing the level of support for a meetup. Thank you.. Cuddy Wifter 06:30, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fourteen years in Rowville
- Do you have a reliable source for the lyrics?
- Great idea by the way!

[edit] WikiProject Buffy Checklist
Hiya, just letting some people who regularly work on Buffyverse articles know there is now a checklist for non-episode articles in place to highlight articles needing work on, and articles coming into completion. It is available at the main project page, since this is where the 'WikiProject Buffy template' on the discussion page of all Buffyverse pages directs people:
It mainly discludes episode articles since they are dealt with at Wikipedia:WikiProject Buffy/Episodes

[edit] Groundskeeper Willy
In the Groundskeeper Willy article, there is a quote about Willy and the hostility the Scots have towards other nationalities, do you know where that quote is taken from? Jlaforteza 16:50, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Featured article candidate review: Buffy article
Hi
Just letting WikiProject Buffyverse members know that the article 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' has recently been nominated as a candidate to become a featured article. Should it become a featured article, it will be possible for the article to appear on the Wikipedia main page on March 10th 2007, the 10th anniversary of Buffy (the premiere, "Welcome to the Hellmouth" aired March 10th 1997).
Any feedback you can offer to improve the article and/or to either object or support the nomination would be wonderful:

[edit] Melbourne meetup in planning
Hello, you've indicated that you're interested in future Meetups in Melbourne on this list, so I'm giving you this message to remind you that Melbounre meetup number four is currently in planning. If you haven't already, please go to Wikipedia:Meetup/Melbourne to suggest possible dates, times and locations. Thanks --Michael Billington (talk • contribs) 02:51, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Melbourne meetup
Greetings, person who is listed as being interested in future meetups in Melbourne. The fourth meetup will be held on 18 December, at Lower House in Fed Square (in the Alfred Deaking building, Flinders Street end near the Atrium: map), starting from 7pm. We don't currently have a separate location for discussion beforehand, but there'll be plenty of time to talk wiki over dinner. --bainer (talk) 14:55, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fifth Melbourne meetup
The fifth meetup of Melbourne Wikipedians is being planned as a breakfast meeting in the city with Jimbo Wales (at a venue to be arranged) on Friday, 27 April 2007.
Jimbo has proposed breakfast as the one real window of opportunity during his tightly scheduled stay in Melbourne. Tbe precise time has to be sorted out with Jimbo, but the arrangements for the equivalent Adelaide meetup a few days before may give a good idea.
Feel free to edit the relevant page in any way that might be helpful. I feel like a bit of an interloper, not having attended previous meetups. If there's anything you can do to help, I'll be grateful. Please think about whether you'll be able to make it, assuming the arrangements are similar to those Adelaide is adopting (i.e. a block of time with people being fairly free to arrive when it suits them). Some indication on the page of your possible participation would be really helpful. Metamagician3000 06:25, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
