Edgar Quinet is a station of the Paris Métro, named after the Boulevard Edgar Quinet. ==History== Edgar Quinet (1803-1875) was a historian and intellectual who wrote on German history, Christianity and other subjects. His professorship in Southern Literature at the Collège de France was suspended by the Government in 1846 due to his attacks on the supporters of the Catholic Church. After the Revolution of 1848, he was elected to the National Assembly, but he was exiled after Napoleon III's coup of 1851 to Brussels. He returned to France in 1870 and was again elected to the National Assembly in 1871.Template:Paris Metro/line 6 Template:Paris-metro-stub</text> </revision> </page>-Edgar Quinet (Metró da Paris) a l'è una stazzion dal metró da Paris.
