I'm Arun Prasad (அருண் பிரசாத்) from Bangalore, India. I have a great passion for WWW, NEWS, movies, Novels and new technologies. Born in Madurai, a native Tamilian and brought up in various States of India (Tamil nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab).

I'm can speak/read/write English, Hindi, Tamil. But i can understand Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi, and Malayalam to surviving extent. A pure Non-Vegeterian foodie and i like seafoods.

[edit] How, Why to Wikipedia

My usage of Wiki started as an online encyclopedia, and slowly i started depending on this for most of my resources. At some point i found few articles have not been updated and i felt like updating them myself. Thats when i registered here and started editing articles here.

I joined Wiki on 14 December 2005. Just started and hoping to make some difference here. Its great to be a part of WWW Encyclopedia.

My idea is that an Internet user must be able to find all details at one place i.e. Wikipedia, whatever the field it may be. I feel nothing wrong in referring other websites to make a better resource at one place in Wiki.

People call me Arun and Collegemates call me Kosu(means mosquito in Tamil).
Worked in Patiala and Bangalore(working).
Single and Not interested to mingle (not a love failured guy).
My Hobby : Photography, Photography and Photography (Got a cool Digital camera, Sony H2).

Today (17th March 2006) I crossed 1000 edits. (Known is a drop, Unknown is an ocean)

I felt satisfactory when I recounted my contribution at Wiki. Out of these 1000 how many were reasonable and valubale edits? really about half of it. But I'm just a 4 months old newbie in Wikipedia and has a long way to go. -- M. Arun prasad
