Maggie Leigh

Maggie Leigh is a lead character in the film, The Dark Side of Youth. She is portrayed by Eleanor Spencer [1]
Ann Margaret Leigh was born to William and Annabella Humphries in 1990. She was the second of three children before he father died in 2000 and her mother moved the four of them to Columbia, South Carolina. Her two daughters went to Westley Roberts Middle School and her eldest son, to Columbia High.In 2001, Maggie took a leave of absence from school for the next two years and began at Columbia High School in 2005. It was then that she met Jimmy Thackeray, son of John Thackeray, a powerful lawyer in Columbia. He takes Maggie under his wing, not knowing of her own past and the still unexplained hiatus, and turns her to crime.
She proves to be a quick study and commits her "first" murder of his ex girlfriend and her current boyfriend. This soon turns them down a semi romantic path which is soon shattered by her antics towards other boys. Jimmy doesn't end the friendship and they soon begin planning on the Judgment Day. Maggie's destructive past is soon revealed as her being sent away to a mental institution for attempted suicide, drug abuse and attempted murder. She was termed "clinically insane" but released into the custody of her mother. On Judgment Day, she destroys a good part of the school and manages to get the highest body count but gets away with it unharmed except for a bullet wound to her abdomen. She is later shot and killed by Jimmy in an attempt to "save her" from persecution. She was survived by her mother, and her two siblings, Herbert and Lana Leigh.
