[edit] Plot
The film centers on the family life of a wealthy Jewish politician from Malibu, California who is running for the office of Governor of California, Bill Gluckman. His son Brad dresses, speaks, and acts as if he were African American and from the inner city, preferring to go by the nickname "B-Rad". As a result, members of Brad's father's political campaign are concerned that Brad's idiotic, outlandish behavior will ruin his father's chance at being elected.
The campaign team members hire two African American actors to act as gang members, kidnap B-Rad, and take him to inner city Los Angeles where they hope Brad will be scared straight after witnessing what life is really like for impoverished African Americans and gang members. Unfortunately for everyone involved, the plan backfires after Brad attempts to associate himself with members of the gang community and subsequently gets himself and the actors hired to guide him into trouble. The MPAA rating for this movie is PG-13 for sexual humor, language and violence.
