Manuel dos Santos Fernandes (born 28 March 1974 in Praia, Cape Verde) is a Cape Verdean-born French football player. He was Portuguese National Champion for Benfica, in 2004/05. He nows plays for Monaco, replacing Patrice Evra at left-back who moved to Manchester United of England in January 2006.
