Montpellier Hérault Sport Club is a French football club, based in Montpellier. As of 2005-06, it plays in Ligue 2. The MHSC is owned by Louis Nicollin.

- 1919: founded.
- 1932: became professional.
- 1969: pro section abandoned.
- 1970: The club takes over "le Sport-Club" and renamed Montpellier-Littoral FC.
- July 1974: Club merges with AS Paillade and is renamed Montpellier La Paillade Sport Club. (arrival of Louis Nicollin in november 1974)
- 1978: becomes professional.
- 1989: Club renamed Montpellier-Hérault Sport Club.
