Mark Rooney

Mark Rooney (born December 13, 1983 in Dublin) is an Irish football player who currently plays for St. Patrick's Athletic F.C. in the eircom league Premier Division.
Rooney is a striker who joined St. Pats in July 2006 season after the sudden collapse of his then employers Dublin City FC. His previous clubs include UCD and Drogheda United, with whom he won an FAI Cup winners wedal in 2005. He is a property developer by profession. His younger brother Adam plays with Stoke City.
