Martyn Margetson (born 8 September 1971 in West Neath) is a professional footballer currently playing for Cardiff City. He is a goalkeeper, and also the club's goalkeeping coach.

He is second choice keeper behind Neil Alexander at Ninian Park. He has one full international cap playing for the Welsh national side in a friendly match.

He joined Cardiff City in August 2002 on a free transfer from Huddersfield Town. Other previous clubs include Southend United, Luton Town, Bolton Wanderers, Bristol Rovers and Manchester City
