Hi MoP,

You welcomed me all the way back in February and said if I had any questions, I could come here and ask. I've run into a bit of a problem over on the Auroville page and am not sure what to do next. I've had trouble keeping it NPOV, and there is an anonymous POV-pusher editing without any apparent regard to my repeated requests for discussion of the problem on both the page's talk page and his/her own. What do I do? I can't just keep reverting it, can I? I'm really trying to create a better page, but this particular user is making it rather difficult. Hey I got a reccomendation that you are the best with userpages. After visiting yours, I think I found the right place. I copied some text from Leroyencyclopediabrown's page and I had some problems. He left, that's why I chose it (and I like it). I decided to take it a step further and add some different colored text (white) but it only worked on part of the userpage. I wanted to make the text (and maybe the titles) white, and I also had some problems changing the background color of the page. Can you help me make the text white and change the backgrond color? Haven't crossed paths with you for awhile. I see you're still wiki-busy. I have been email'd/talk page prop'd to toss my hat into the RfA ring. I have told all that the time is not right and that I still have a bit more to learn. Soon maybe? I am content doing what I do best...and my user page has been vandalized many times for doing it :) . I am closing in on 12000 edits. I can remember when it was 1000. I've seen quite a few "wiki-friends" quit altogether due to constant frustration from vandals and POV pushers. I'm still here. It's a decent little hobby. I've "coffee break chatted" about Wikipedia to some of my staff. There are a few here(maybe even a few in our offices out west, and in the States) who edit now and then. I have my finance officer hooked. She says she watches pages that her children might view(Pokemon, Bionicle etc) to see that they don't read anything "naughty". Hard task on some of those pages. For some reason my name has been removed from the list of authorized users. I was added by Betacommand here [1], and he welcommed me here[2]. First my boxen template broke, and now I have to click it an time to show the boxes (it starts by showing hide, then you click hide and it turns to show, then you click it again and the boxes finally show), then the border of my page stopped matching the border of my statusdiv template, and now the standard User:Clyde Miller title has shown up below my cool title name. WikiProject Metal music is important in expanding encyclopedic coverage of the metal. It brings attention to the lesser-known bands, and significantly improves the quality of the famous ones. Five Featured articles and two formers is proof of that.
This is the stuff I wish to achieve with the somewhat recently resurrected WikiProject Rock music. I hope to also attract attention to rock music articles of all sorts, and hopefully change some to GA or FA status. I invite you to come join us, and embrace the links between metal and rock music in general.

[edit] Problem with an old image

Hi MOP! I came across a picture you had modified. There was a small problem with the image tag you had used. It should have been tagged as GFDL as the original image by Srikeit was tagged under GFDL. You can't release it into public domain as the copyright does not belong to you. This image was used in a newspaper in India without attribution to Srikeit. Could you take a look at more pictures that you may have modified for similar errors, just in case? If you are wondering why this issue was noticed now, see this discussion on the Indian noticeboard. Please be careful when licencing images. In this case, ToI could have legally claimed copyrights to the image, since all rights were released from it. =Nichalp «Talk»= 15:17, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
