[edit] After My Chemical Romance
Pelissier posted comments on the MCR Live Journal upon his removal from the band in 2004.
Bob Bryar has since replaced Pelissier as the band's drummer.
Gerard Way has commented that Matt caused conflict between other band members and himself. "It was hard to tour with someone who wasn't willing to work as a team."
Mikey Way later admitted that a drastic change had taken place. "We had this huge change, we lost our drummer (Matt) and Gerard was getting sober. It was too big to imagine."
Pelissier currently works as a mechanic in New Jersey.
In the Summer of 2006, Matt Pelissier and George Collazo began Strong Arm Studios, a fully functional recording studio located in Harrison, New Jersey.
[edit] Discography
Matt has recorded two albums with My Chemical Romance: I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, and Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. Contrary to popular belief, Matt is the drummer heard on their second album, and appears in the original version of the video for "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)". He had gotten a tattoo of a bat on his hand while he was still in the band, which can be seen in the video. The second video of "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)", recognised as the standard video of the song, featured Bob Bryar, who had not yet been asked to be in the band.
