Mike Christie

Michael Phillip Christie (born April 21, 1981 in Redhill, Surrey) is a baritone singer with British vocal troupe G4. Other band members are Jonathan Ansell, Matthew Stiff, and Ben Thapa. He also plays piano and flute.
Having been a chorister between the ages of 8 and 13, he took A levels in Chemistry, Art & Design and Music, before spending four years at Guildhall School of Music and Drama and graduating in 2004. When G4 appeared on The X Factor in 2004, they finished second in the contest, but signed a £1.5 million record deal with BMG. Their first album was released in February 2005. Entitled G4, it has sold over 600,000 copies to date, attaining double platinum status.
Christie had previously appeared as a chorister in the movie Four Weddings and a Funeral. He speaks fluent Swedish and has already written his own opera.
