Miss Universe 1998 was held at Stan Sheriff Arena, Honolulu, USA on May 12, 1998. Brook Lee, Miss Universe 1997, of USA crowned Wendy Fitzwilliam of Trinidad and Tobago as Miss Universe 1998. There were 81 contestants who competed for the crown.
