Nathaniel ("Nate") James Dusing (born November 25, 1978 in Villa Hills, Kentucky) is a former freestyle and medley swimmer from the United States, who represented his native country at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 2000 (Sydney, Australia). There he won the silver medal in the 4x200m freestyle relay, although he just swam in the prelims. Four years later in Athens, Greece he was a bronze medalist, after having swum in the heats of the 4x100m freestyle relay.

Dusing held the national high school record in the 100 Fly by himself for 10 years, from 1997-07, with a time of 47.10 seconds. He now shares the record with Austin Staab of Westerville, Ohio.

Named the 2001 NCAA Swimmer of the Year, Dusing won a gold and a silver medal at the 2003 World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona, Spain, swimming on the American-record-breaking 4x200m freestyle relay, whil taking silver in the 4x100 free relay. He earned a bronze at the 2001 World Aquatics Championships in the 4x200m freestyle relay. Dusing graduated from the University of Texas in 2002 with a degree in marketing.
