The Nebelhorn Aerial Tramway in Oberstdorf, Germany is a wire ropeway implemented in 3 sections on the nebula horn (mountain) at the upper village. It was established between 1928 and 1930 and rebuilt in 1977 and 1991. The first section of the nebula horn course, which was renewed 1977, has a length of 2202.68 meters and a carrying rope diameter of 55 and a hauling cable diameter of 21 mm. It overcomes an elevator difference of 452 meters. The drive takes place in the mountain station with an engine from 454 HP. The first section of the nebula horn course has 3 supports, which are 41, 38 and 21 meters high. The maximum speed amounts to 10m/s. The second section of the nebula horn course, which was likewise rebuilt in 1977, has a length of 2617.11 meters and a carrying rope diameter of 55 and a hauling cable diameter of 21 mm. It overcomes an elevator difference of 652 meters. The drive takes place in the mountain station with an engine from 350 HP. The second section of the nebula horn course has 3 supports, which are 36, 45 and 39 meters high. The maximum speed amounts to 10m/s. The third section of the nebula horn course does not have support. It has a length of 948.42 meters and a hauling cable diameter of 20 and a carrying rope diameter of 40 Millimeters. The drive takes place in the valley station with an output of 120 KW. The maximum speed amounts to 8m/s.
