Nick Harmer

Nick Harmer (sometimes credited as Nicholas Harmer) (born January 23, 1975 in Landstuhl, Germany) is the bass player in the band Death Cab for Cutie.
His mother, Sheryl Harmer, has just resigned as a director with the nonprofit organization Committee for Children, based in Seattle, Washington. His father, George Harmer is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army and is a controller for Gensco, Inc, a Tacoma, Washington wholesale firm.
He attended Governor John R. Rogers High School in Puyallup, Washington, where he was president of his senior class.
Nick has one brother named Andrew.
