[edit] Welcome!
As my username suggests, I love linguistics, particularily the study of names and naming traditions. Beyond that, I devote most of my time to environmental activism, because I firmly believe that global warming is the single greatest threat to my generation. All concerns about economics, national security, and politics are ultimately dwarfed by the fact that our planet is becoming inhabitable.
Don't let the doom-and-gloom talk scare you away, though. Environmentalism is my passion, but I have the greatest respect for anyone who devotes his or her life to a principle, whatever it may be.
I am honored to be president of MCSEA and a member of the Sierra Student Coalition
