Murray Rothbard

Murray Newton Rothbard (født 2. mars 1926, død 7. januar 1995) var en amerikansk økonom og politisk filosof som frem til sin død i 1995 fremsto som en av de fremste forkjempere for moderne libertarianisme og anarkokapitalisme. Han var også en ledende eksponent for den såkalte østerrikske skole innenfor økonomien. Var motstander av USAs privateide sentralbank Federal Reserve og for en tilbakevending til «gullstandarden» (knytte verdien av dollar til gull).
