Oda Nobutoshi (織田信敏?); (November 19, 1853-1901)- Japanese samurai of the late Edo period. Direct descendant of the famed Oda Nobunaga, through Nobunaga's son Oda Nobukatsu. The lord of Tendo han in northern Japan, Nobutoshi was involved in the tumultuous conflict that wracked northern Japan in 1868-1869.
Nobutoshi, or as he was first known, Fukunosuke, was born in Edo on November 19, 1868, the fourth son of Oda Nobumichi, lord of Tendo han in Dewa Province. Adopted in mid-1863, he became lord of Tendo in early 1868, following an audience with Emperor Meiji. Tendo became embroiled in the conflict in the north, being caught in a difficult position between the forces of the Kyoto government on one hand, and the Shonai domain on the other. Nobutoshi resigned in favor of Oda Suemaru, but resumed headship some time later.
Following the war, Nobutoshi became a member of the new nobility.
