Ondangwa

Ondangwa or Ondangua, is a small town in the far north of Namibia, close to the Angolan border. It is north east of Lake Oponono and a house built in the 1970s by Martti Rautanen, the oldest in the region.

In 2001, planning started on a railway line to link Tsumeb with Ondangua, with extensions to Angola planned to follow. The rail line had its first official train on 11 May 2006.
The town shares an airport with Oshakati.
