Orim M. Meikle

Orim M. Meikle (born 1967, in Jamaica) is the senior pastor of Rhema Christian Ministries in Toronto, Canada, one of the fastest growing churches with a congregation, averaging approximately 2000 people, with a variety of weekly services in English as well as in Spanish.

Orim M. Meikle migrated to Canada with his family from Jamaica during the year 1975.
He is a graduate of the Tyndale University College and Seminary in Toronto, earning his Bachelors Degree in Religious Studies. Soon after graduation, he founded Rhema Christian Ministries: a non-denominational, multi-ethnic pentecostal church, also located in northern Toronto.
Under his leadership, Rhema Christian Ministries has grown from 20 people to a membership of well over 2000 believers in just over five years. His message of empowerment and hope has taken him throughout the United States, the Caribbean and Canada.
In the media, he is recognized as an “expert” regarding the subject of Youth Violence and how to confront such a dilemma. He has spoken at town hall meetings, given live, on-air interviews on various television and radio stations, and participated in citywide Summits where the Chief of Police, the Mayor and other key political leaders were also in attendance.
Consequently, he is the initiator of Community Prayer Patrol 24, a series of prayer walks that target specific areas in the Greater Toronto Area. These walks have been covered by major television and radio stations such as Global TV, Cable Pulse 24, CTV News, CFRB and on CBC’s The Fifth Estate.
Pastor Meikle is now making his voice heard in the areas of radio and television. He is the host of The Pastor Orim Meikle Show; a contemporary radio talk show heard on CFRB. His television broadcast Rhema Today airs three times per week on CTS.
Pastor Meikle, his wife Judith, their son Jalen and daughter Jasmine Rose, currently reside in Markham, Ontario.
