Ouke no Monshou (王家の紋章 Crest of the Royal Family) is a shōjo manga by Hosokawa Chieko. It has run in the monthly magazine Princess (magazine) since 1976.
The main character is Carol, blond-haired and blue eyed American teenager from a wealthy family with an interest in Egyptology studying in Cairo. When her mentor discovered the new grave of a young pharaoh, a curse put on the excavation team, including Carol whose family supported the excavation. A curse throws her back in time to ancient Egypt, where she becomes embroiled in the affairs of Egypt and other ancient countries such as Assyria and Babylonia. Then, Carol met Memphis, young handsome pharaoh whose tomb she has excavated in 21th century. After several war events,they fell in love deeply. Carol decided to stay there, and Memphis declared his marriage with Carol. It made Aysis, his half sister anger and grief because she wanted to marry her half brother for a long time. Their relations moved involving other countries, such as Babylonia and Hitty.
