Parliament Hill, London

Parliament Hill is an open area of land in north-west London adjacent to Hampstead Heath administered by the Corporation of London. The Highgate area around the Hill is also sometimes referred to by the same name, and the area's girls' school, Parliament Hill School, is named after it.
Once known as Traitors' Hill it acquired its current name during the English Civil War when it was occupied by troops loyal to the English Parliament. The hill is not, as the name might suggest, home to the Houses of Parliament - they are located several miles south of the hill, in Westminster.
Informally part is now called Kite Hill due to its popularity with kite flyers. The hill is around 321 feet (98 m) high and gives good views over London and northwards.
