Pat Proft

Pat Proft is a comedy writer and actor. He was born on April 3, 1947 in Columbia Heights, Minnesota. He began his career at Dudley Riggs' Brave New Workshop in Minneapolis. In the mid-1970s, he began writing for television and films. He has written numerous films, but has only directed one film (Wrongfully Accused), which starred Leslie Nielsen. He was also one of the writer's on The Star Wars Holiday Special.
