Patrick Arena was the main sports arena located in Victoria, British Columbia. Built in 1911, it held 3,500 people. The first professional hockey game played on artificial ice was played at Patrick Arena on January 2, 1912. During its existence, it hosted the Pacific Coast Hockey Association's Victoria Cougars. Frank and Lester Patrick ownered the team and the arena. The arena burned down on November 11, 1929, said to be the work of a pyromaniac.
