Paul Johnson (born June 26, 1984) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League.
Picked up by the West Coast Eagles at number 24 in the 2002 AFL Draft, he played only one game in two seasons with the club.
At 200cm the lumbering ruckman was traded to the Melbourne Football Club at the end of 2004 in exchange for draft pick number 29, which was used to select Matthew Rosa. In 2005, Johnson played eight games for Melbourne, wearing guernsey number 11. Already in 2006 Paul has totaled 2 goals, both against Sydney Swans. He is currently recovering from a shoulder injury which should see him return to the squad within a matter of weeks.
Paul won the VFL Liston Medal for fair play in 2005 whilst playing with the Demon's affiliate the Sandringham Football Club (where he played a part in the club's 2005 premiership side).
