[edit] Hi There!
Welcome at my profile page! I've just discovered there is such a thing at wikipedia, so as you can guess I'm sort of a newbie at the moment. I first noted wikipedia when I needed some information. And I was pleasantly surprised by the various subjects that are covered. Besides a great information source, I find wikipedia also very interesting. You can learn about lots of new things. Anyway, after a while I decided I wanted to contribute to wikipedia. So I started to study the way articles are build in wikipedia and later try some adjustments of my own. Though my native language is Dutch, I only contribute to the English version. Because I believe you can reach more people worldwide since it's language #2 to a lot of people. I also consider it the worldwide language.

Then a little bit about myself. I was born in the Dutch city of Utrecht, but have spend almost all my life in the city of Amersfoort. I'm currently 19 years old, and my birthday is January 15. At this moment I am studying to be an social worker, I attend this study at Windesheim, a college (HBO in Dutch) in the city of Zwolle. On saturdays I'm a mailman to make some extra money.

Music wasn't my first love, but it will be my last. Though my main interest goes out to rock music, I am open to most kinds of music. Besides that I'm a bassplayer, but am interested in musicians in general. I'm currently forming a pop/rockband.
I'm a keen follower of Formula 1 racing. I have seen most of the races since the 1998 season, I'll try to contribute my share on this subject.
When I was a little boy, I was addicted to videogames. Especially Sega games. For a couple of years I didn't have any interest in that stuff anymore, but recently I've been playing more of them. Currently I prefer Nintendo related games. Also, I'm quite a fan of television series. Like Friends, Scrubs, King of Queens and others.
Yes I also have a life outside, because one of my interests is traveling. I love doing that. In 2005 I have spent part of the summer in Paris and Budapest and celebrated new years eve in Berlin. I've just returned from Sicily (staying in the small village of Balestrate) and in couple of days I will depart to the Greek Island of Kos.
I'm also very keen on photography and social issues. You'll problably see me contributing on one or more of these subjects on wikipedia. If you have any question at all, you can ask it at my talkpage. I'm a nice guy. ;-)
