I started contributing to the displacement activity which is Wikipedia in December 2004, and was made an administrator on 1 May 2006. Thank you to everyone who supported me in my RfA, which passed with an overwhelming consensus of 95/2/2.
I'm neither an inclusionist nor a deletionist. Articles should be considered on their own merit. Development is better than deletion, but vanity is a no-no. Especially student bands who think they're so intelligent and original because they've produced yet another critique of capitalism and commercial pop music.
I don't set out to annoy people, but if people who deserve to be annoyed are pissed off, then job done: such as non-notable podcasters. See the rant here. It will amuse you.

Image tagging
I'm involved in the various activities to uphold our standards about copyright and images. This means correctly tagging them; adding the no source template to those without sources; nominating copyvios. I do lot like liberal uses of {{promophoto}} : the golden rule is that there needs to be a verifiable source with verifiable copyright information. Jimbo has recently reasserted that 'fair use' images are frowned upon.
Fair use images should have a fair use rationale.
