[edit] Planned Services
PBS announced that, in October 2006, a 24-hour (24/7) digital PBS Kids Go! Channel would be launched with additional content, including an evening "Go! Family" block targeted at both children and their families and a Spanish language-programming block.
[edit] Availability
The channel will initially be made available to PBS stations that have digital multicast capability. PBS stations are planning to make agreements with local stations and cable operators for channel placement. Plans are also to have similar arrangements work out with satellite providers. PBS and Verizon have worked out an agreement to distribute PBS Kids Go! Channel (along with other digital PBS channels) over its FiOS TV services.
[edit] Setbacks
However, on June 6, 2006, PBS announced that the PBS Kids Go! Channel wouldn't launch in October 2006 due to financial issues, as reported by the Broadcasting & Cable News website. Instead, the channel was delayed for several months. The channel launched December 11, 2006.
[edit] Other Possibilities
PBS is exploring other delivery options for its school-age programs including video on demand (VOD), DSL/Cable distribution and other digital media. Plans for these delivery methods will be announced in the coming months.

- The first has a boy pushing a block up and down with his footing, which is pushing up a girl. She then kicks a block and the PBS Kids GO! logo appears in a new block.
- The second has another boy jumping from block to block. Then he starts jumping vertically, and the PBS Kids GO! logo is shown. A dog barks after that.
- The third is of a boy sitting watching a block stretch and another boy comes out of it. He presses a button and the PBS Kids GO! logo appears and a girl pops up and shouts, "GO!".
- The fourth ident has a boy yelling, "GO!" in a long block. It echoes and another boy hears it. He shouts, "GO!" and it echoes and a girl hears it. She then pulls a lever and the PBS Kids GO! logo appears.
After all of these idents, "GO!" is heard as a voiceover. Although in the second ident described here, only a bark is heard.
In 2007, new idents starting airing. These have been seen on Arthur, Wishbone, and occasionally other programs. Like the original idents, "GO!" is heard voiceover.
- The first ident shows a girl standing alone. Then, another girl goes to her and whipsers something to her quickly. Then, the first girl takes out a device (which looks like a cell phone), and pushes a button on it. Then it moves to a new shot with a boy at a computer. On the screen, it tells him he has a new message. He pushes a keyboard button and the PBS Kids GO! logo appears.
- The second ident shows two girls jumping on a pump with looks like a see-saw. It pumps air into a green hose, which goes to a balloon. The balloon has the PBS Kids GO! logo on it.

- The fourth ident starts with a boy riding his bike. He stops and it transforms into a block. It has the PBS Kids GO! logo on it. The camera zooms in on it.
- The fifth ident shows blocks grouped together forming the top of the GO! logo hanging from the ceiling. The camera angle goes down to see a group of kids. They are standing next to the bottom half of the logo. The kids stomp and the top half falls into place to form the entire logo.
- The sixth ident shows a girl on a hopscotch board. She goes to the end and she finds the PBS Kids GO! logo.
- The seventh ident shows two girls turning a wheel. In the background, you see PBS Kids GO! logos upside down. Eventually, the girls turn it 180 degrees and a bigger logo appears on the left.
- The eighth ident shows a boy at a computer on his stomach. He pushes a button and and orange PBS Kids GO! logo appears. "GO!" jumps out for a second and then remains stable.
- The ninth ident has a girl. Bubbles are all around, and the biggest one has the PBS Kids GO! logo on it.
[edit] TV Schedule idents
PBS Kids GO! shows viewers what's coming up next after most of their programs. They usually all have a short description of the program. Some PBS stations use slightly different idents, and some don't use them at all.
- One shows the letters in "NEXT" moving around the screen with PBS Kids GO! kids trying to catch them. The letters come together and you see the main character of the program in a window.
- There is another one with kids putting together a wall of blocks. An image of Buster Baxter's head is on the blocks.
- There is another one very similar with the first one described here. There are different kids in this one.
