Penalty game

A penalty game is the punishment for losing a game, usually one with high stakes. It is inflicted on the loser by the winner of the game.
In the anime and manga series Yu-Gi-Oh!, Penalty games are most commonly given by the holders of the Millennium Items. The holders are Dark Yugi a.k.a. Yu-Gi-Oh (Yami Yugi), Dark Bakura (Yami Bakura), Dark Marik (Yami Marik), and Maximillion Pegasus (On Bandit Keith) have all inflicted penalty games on the loser. Penalty games are used by Seto Kaiba (on Sugoroku Mutou (Solomon Muto), Yugi's Grandfather) and Imori (on Yugi Mutou). Punishment can take many forms ranging from hallucinations to insanity to death.
