Peter Olsson

For the American psychiatrist and author of the same name, see Peter A. Olsson.
Peter Olsson was the original bassist in the Swedish hard rock band Force, that would later change their name to Europe. Olsson formed Force in Upplands Väsby in 1979, together with vocalist and keyboardist Joey Tempest, guitarist John Norum and drummer Tony Reno.
Olsson left the band in 1981 and was replaced by John Levén. Apparently Olsson left because he felt that Joey Tempest had "stolen his girlfriend". Other bands Olsson have played in include Power and Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force.
