Picking Up the Pieces is a 2000 film directed by Alfonso Arau and starring Woody Allen, who plays Tex, a butcher who kills his unfaithful wife, Candy, played by Sharon Stone. After cutting up the body, Tex conceals the parts in the desert in New Mexico. Candy's hand resurfaces, and a blind woman accidentally trips over it; her sight is restored, and she proclaims the hand to be the "hand of the Virgin." Tex hears of this, and attempts to retrieve the hand without being caught.
There is also a scene where a Mexican woman from the village prays and her breasts grow. The hand then becomes the talk of the village and everyone goes there to heal themselves this ranges from a crippled man growing new legs, a teenager being relieved of his acne and a midget having his manhood enlarged.
