Michael Sweet

Michael Harrison Sweet (4 de julho de 1963) é um cantor de metal cristão dos Estados Unidos.
Começou sua carreira com cinco anos tocando violão e com 12 anos começou a cantar. Michael também toca guitarra, bateria, piano e baixo.
No início dos anos 1980, Michael Sweet e seu irmão deram início a uma banda chamada Roxx Regime, mais tarde passou a se chamar Stryper.
Depois de 11 anos a frente do Stryper, Michael Sweet decidiu sair da banda em 1992 para fazer uma carreira solo. No ano 2000, Michael se reuniu com os outros membros do Stryper para fazer o video Stryper Expo e Stryper Expo II: West Side Story em 2001 em Nova Jérsei.
Em 2003, Stryper se reuniu novamente após o lançamento da coletânea Seven: The Best Of Stryper.
Os integrantes do Stryper voltaram a trabalhar juntos, lançando um novo álbum chamado Reborn (Renascimento), em 2005. Entretanto, Michael Sweet continuou sua carreira solo assim como sua carreira com o Stryper. Em agosto de 2006, Michael lançou o álbum Him. O álbum contém hinos tradicionais das igrejas americanas com novos arranjos feitos por Michael Sweet.
