[edit] Constant Editing
Why is it necessary to include which team he hit a home run against in his climb up the top home run hitters in baseball?
\Needs work. Lots of work. ;) Any baseball afficianados out there? --Dante Alighieri 22:58 19 May 2003 (UTC)

- CBS SportsLine.com reports: "Rafael Palmeiro hasn't spoken publicly for months and did not return several phone calls made by AP. He evidently hasn't had much conversation with his former teammates, either. "I haven't talked to Raffy and I don't want to talk to Raffy," third baseman Melvin Mora said. "When you don't know what happened in your life, you cannot blame it on somebody else. You need to know how to take your own responsibility."

[edit] Wikipedia bug?
Sorry to make 3 edits Category:People from Cuba|Palmeiro, Rafael]] Now the record shows that this in a row but I was confused by something. When I went to look back at my edit and compare it to the previous version, it made it look like I had removed the following line:
[[Category:People from Cuba|Palmeiro, Rafael]]
Now the record shows that this line was removeCategory:People from Cuba|Palmeiro, Rafael]]
Now the record shows that this d in the edit prior to mine but at the time, for reasons incomprehensible to me, the comparison between my edit and the one prior made it look like it was ME who removed the line. I then added it back, not wanting to remove any pertinent categories from the list, at which point I noticed that it was an empty category so I removed it "again". Now it looks like it was removed in the edit before mine and it wasn't added again until my second edit. Argh. - confusing.
Is this some sort of bug in Wikipedia?
- The Steroid Scandal
With Palmeiro recently becoming the highest profile player of all time to test positive for steroids, a section should be devoted to it.
[edit] Rumors
67.173.190.216 has added the rumor about Palmeiro sleeping with Ryne Sandberg's wife. This is, as far as I know, just an old rumor that may or may not be true and thus doesn't really belong here. I'm removing it for now. --W.marsh 20:58, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Current tag
Is it really necessary to have a current tag? Palmeiro cannot appeal his suspension, so there's nothing more to add there as far as new developments are concerned. --Nlu 03:49, 3 August 2005 (UTC)
I agree. You might as well put current tags on every active MLB player who's taken steroids or suspected of taking steroids
