[edit] History
Guitarists and singers, Adrian and Alex first met at a Black Rebel Motorcycle Club gig. Afterwards, Adrian asked childhood friend Matt, who was then residing in New Zealand to join and play bass though he had never played bass before. Matt then met drummer Tom on the flight back to Australia.
After playing a number of live shows - including a highly coveted Franz Ferdinand support spot - they signed to Ivy League Records.
After much airplay on national youth radio station Triple J, Red Rider's single "Slide In Next To Me" was voted in at number 96 in the 2006 Hottest 100.
