Hi Renata, welcome back to Wikipedia! <KF> 21:24, 2 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Nice to see you back G-Man 18:48, 8 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Hi Renata. Thanks for the kind message. I am still wrestling with the question of how much of this to do - if any at all - how to fit it in with other stuff, etc. I feel as if I could write a book on this topic, on what I think about the Wiki, the interactions with other users etc etc etc. The thing about "not taking it so seriously" rang very loud bells with me too. Since the last period when I did pay wikipedia a bit more attention I've got very busy looking after a website, and doing other stuff, and at times I think I just can't fit w. in at all. But it does have some highly addictive properties! I will just have to see how things develop. I hope that all is well with you and that you are enjoying being back here. Very best wishes, Neville (Nevilley 09:01, 12 Mar 2004 (UTC))
[edit] Image:Assisi square.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Assisi square.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use gfdl if you release it under the GFDL, or fairuse if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much, – Quadell (talk) (help)[[]] 23:23, Nov 4, 2004 (UTC)
P.S. Image:Assisi whale.jpg also. Thanks!

[edit] Article Licensing
Hi, I've started the Free the Rambot Articles Project which has the goals of getting users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to...
- ...all U.S. state, county, and city articles...
- ...all articles...
using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) version 1.0 and 2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to the GFDL (which every contribution made to Wikipedia is licensed under), but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles (See the Multi-licensing Guide for more information). Since you are among the top 1000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. So far over 90% of people who have responded have done this.
- Nutshell: Wikipedia articles can be shared with any other GFDL project but open/free projects using the incompatible Creative Commons Licenses (e.g. WikiTravel) can't use our stuff and we can't use theirs. It is important to us that other free projects can use our stuff. So we use their licenses too.
To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual template (or MultiLicensePD for public domain) into their user page, but there are other templates for other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:
- Option 1
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
OR
- Option 2
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual with MultiLicensePD. If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know at my talk page what you think. It's important to know, even if you choose to do anything so I don't keep asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk) 14:37, Dec 3, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] More old images
In case you still check in here, Image:Britannia2.jpg needs info on source and copyright status, thanks. -- Infrogmation 18:54, 2 Jan 2005 (UTC)
[edit] lots of edits, not an admin
Hi - I made a list of users who've been around long enough to have made lots of edits but aren't admins. It looks like you're not active anymore, but if you come back and are at all interested in becoming an admin, can you please add an '*' immediately before your name in this list? I've suggested folks nominating someone might want to puruse this list, although there is certainly no guarantee anyone will ever look at it. I've marked you on this list as "inactve". Feel free to update this as well. Thanks. -- Rick Block (talk) July 3, 2005 18:27 (UTC)

[edit] Please check your WP:NA entry
Greetings, editor! Your name appears on Wikipedia:List of non-admins with high edit counts. If you have not done so lately, please take a look at that page and check your listing to be sure that following the particulars are correct:
- If you are an admin, please remove your name from the list.
- If you are currently interested in being considered for adminship, please be sure your name is in bold; if you are opposed to being considered for adminship, please cross out your name (but do not delete it, as it will automatically be re-added in the next page update).
- Please check to see if you are in the right category for classification by number of edits.
Thank you, and have a wiki wiki day! bd2412 T 03:19, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Talk:Prince Rupert of the Rhine
hi Renata, how are you? You have created this article a long time ago. There is a discussion on the naming of this article, maybe you care to take a look since you created it? With kind regards... Gryffindor 17:55, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your list IS valuable
The list (of Belgians) you created is/was up for deletion. I want you to know there is a place for it: http://wikitistics.com . No one will be able to nominate it for deletion because it fits one simple rule: it's a statistic, list, or figure. Good luck with your endeavors! JM
[edit] Image:Forthroadbridge sm.jpg listed for deletion
An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Forthroadbridge sm.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in its not being deleted. Thank you.
