- Code letter: Codeless; no code was given for "Obvious, disruptive sock puppet" or "Disruptive 'throwaway' account used only for a few edits".
This user's edit history[1] indicates that it is some sort of account solely for the purpose of being disruptive, possibly some sort of proxy. The only activity is 2 acts of vandalism[2][3], and a later test[4], presumably from a registered user making sure he or she was no longer logged in, before making an anon edit to remove cited, sourced material from an article[5], picking up where other editors had just previously reverted[6][7]. - CWI indicates it's a dynamic IP. I'm inclined to say it's not that necessary, since it's an IP, and under scrutiny now anyways. Logical2uReview me! 01:02, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- Also, the reason there are no codes is because those are not cases for Checkuser, but simply for admins. You need someone to compare this to, as well (But if it's dynamic it won't amount to much). Logical2uReview me! 01:04, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- I was afraid that this was the case. Would it be possible to block the range that is in use by this provider, as it appears to be a source of vandalism and mischief, and quite possibly a proxy that would facilitate these behaviors? Mael-Num 06:38, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- And I didn't know what other group of admins to bring this to the attention of besides yours. My knowledge of Wikipedia is still rather limited. I'm sorry if I didn't follow the correct procedure.
- To my knowledge, User:Maria_Ch began editing with a registered name[8] that appears to have picked up where the above IP left off[9]. It may be mere coincidence, but the author's apparent interests would indicate otherwise. Mael-Num 06:45, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
